Opaque Vertical Armor Level - Euro norm B6 according CEN 1063 - The driver compartment vertical opaque armor was tested to defeat three hits, each one being fired on the apex of an equilateral 12.7cm triangle. The weapon was positioned five meters from the target, the target being placed at a 90° angle from the weapon. Glass - Original OEM glass will be removed and replaced with curved, ballistic glass installed in the following areas: Driver door window frame, with operable window, opening up to ca. 10cm, Passenger curb side front door window frame, Passenger door street side rear, one piece armored glass set into window frame, Passenger door curbside rear, one-piece armored glass set into window frame, Armored windshield with upper gray sun band, 12 mm return, urethaned and set into original OEM frame, Armored bulkhead wall with ballistic glass behind rear seats.

Body (Interior - Utility version)
Vertical armor in passenger compartment - AA-HH overlaid with stitch mat carpeting: Driver Door: AAHH installed to door interior with original modified door panel reinstalled.
Passenger Door Front: AAHH installed to door interior with original modified door panel reinstalled. Passenger Door Rear Curb Side: AAHH installed to door interior with original modified door panel reinstalled. Passenger Door Rear Street Side: AAHH installed to door interior with original modified door panel reinstalled. Head rails, above doors, A, B and C pillar posts, Kick panels at doors, Rear wheel wells, Front windscreen closeout header, Kick panels below dashboard, Armor to firewall, Overlap armor with spall return located at four doors, Overlap armor at windows, Bulkhead wall with bullet resistant window, located to back of rear passenger seats.

Ceiling (Interior)
Roof area - AA-HH with headliner including customized fabric components.
Note: With AA-HH the roof area of the vehicle will provide protection from the projectiles specified in Section 2 at impacts of 30°.

Floor
Aramid aggregate sandwich to defeat blast and fragmentation of two (2) Russian RGD5, British L2A2 or German DM51 anti-personnel grenades. The Aramid is overlaid with original matting. Testing: The Aramid explosive test was undertaken with a standing device being placed on an asphalt surface, underneath the passenger compartment of the vehicle, with the vehicle being stationary.

Suspension
To assist the suspension due to the added weight of armor the following modifications have been undertaken: Replace front coil springs to match weight ratios; Modified rear coil springs matching weight ratios; Rear heavy duty sway bar with urethane bushings; Replace front OEM bushings with urethane bushings; The suspension will be upgraded to carry the vehicle weight including the armor and 5 passengers as a minimum.

Vehicle Structural & Pillar Reinforcement  Reinforcement of load bearing pillars, for hinge installation, with spacers between hinge, frame and armor plate; Door retainers installed on all doors - 3,200kg strain nylon straps with automatic retraction; Reinforced hinges attached to AA-HH - all doors, with steel interior door reinforcement plates fastened with ? 8 hardened steel bolts, which allow for door adjustment as necessary.

Security Features and Accessories Included Brake fluid DOT4; Fuel tank locking cap; Five Armtyre® run flat inserts for safe wheels.
